Vocational training is an effective approach towards developing human resource, enhancing industry technology and facilitating economic development as an operative gateway. In view of this, Tainan Vocational Training Center is established for reservation of sufficient and reparatory labor force; enhancement of industry technology and development of human resource for southwest region.

 History:

Preparation       : Preparation in November the 1^st, 1981.

 Establishment    : Taiwan Provincial Government established “Taiwan Southern Vocational Training Center” in Guantien Industrial Park, Guantien Tainan County in April 1^st 1985.

 Starting             : Started recruiting trainees in January 1986.

Affiliation          : Due to affiliation to Taiwan Provincial Labor Administration, “Taiwan Provincial Southern Vocational Training Center.” was renamed in January 15^th, 1988.

 Rename            : Due to policy of refining on provinces, merger with central government was formed in July1st, 1999 and renamed “Tainan Vocational Training Center, Bureau of Employment and Vocational Training”

 Goal                 : Train people to be professional, skillful and ethical workers, and to promote economic development.

 Main Missions:

-     To operate vocational training resource in the southwest Region.

-     To integrate resource, procurement, evaluate achievement and offer vocational training consultancy services

-     Offer high-quality vocational training plan, pre-vocational training, and second- skill training.

-     Popularize certificate system of technical skills and examination.

Provide domestic and international competition training.
